There are a LOT of MBA programs out there, with more being added every year in an effort to keep pace with the business world.  Everything from the “traditional” programs in Accounting, Finance, and Marketing to the newer Internet-related ones.  How do you know which type is right for you?

I’ve come across a great website called BSchoolTalk that has a weekly video podcast that helps to answer these types of questions.

For this post, I’ve selected their Episode 17, “Choosing an MBA.”  In this video, you’ll see interviews with several admissions professionals from a number of business schools explaining the things they take into consideration when recommending a particular type of MBA.  Knowing they questions they ask will help you ask yourself the same questions.

This is a short 8 minute video but it contains a lot of great information so be sure to view it 2 or 3 times.  It should really help you narrow down your choices to a more manageable list.
